Abstract

One of the main features of the modern lifestyle is mobility. At the individual level, mobility means developing the qualities of adaptability, flexibility, willingness to change («gently» or radically) their practice, to adapt to a new environment, often perceived as «unfriendly» one. The capacity for mobility and adaptation in professional or social environment is directly related to lifelong learning and its specific form — self-education. Selftraining is the activity directed by the man himself, the value in the structure of the behavioral preferences and the social institution, if it is accepted by government and/or society. In addition, self-education, under the certain circumstances, becomes an instrument for social transformation.
