The reproduction of the professional group of research workers: issues of sustainability

Abstract

The article is devoted to the problem of stability and reproduction professional group of research workers in crisis and reform in the field of science in Russia and the institutional conditions for this. The main social context is the state scientific policy. Its chaotic development and the weakening of institutional support of science impact on the strengthening of inequalities in the field of science and technology, including power and gender. The problems of reproduction are associated with the creation of conditions for development of scientific career. Regulators of career development associated with the regulators of employment in academic research institutions as a whole. One measure of the success of their operation is the stability of a scientific career. In this work the main attention is focused on the analysis of continuity and the search for new models of reproduction professional group of research workers primarily through the regulation of a scientific career, with special focus on the folding of these models in the Soviet period.
