Abstract

The article analyzes understanding of social justice in representation of people of different nationalities: locals and visitors of Moscow, Moscow, Astrakhan and Kaliningrad regions. The author studies social justice in interregional and intraregional dimension. There is similarity of understanding of social justice in all studied regions: as "equality in front of the law", "equal opportunities for education, work and business" and "respect for the dignity of any person, regardless of his financial position, nationality and religion". Research shows that the majority of residents (both local and visitors) do not notice the government efforts to achieve social justice in the society. Speaking of intraregional specifics, there is more unity in understanding of social justice in Moscow, Moscow and Astrakhan regions than in the Kaliningrad region.
