Abstract

The article is based on the comparative analysis of the peculiarities of the adap-tative social well-being under conditions of forced adaptation to imposed risk. The results of representative sociological surveys in two communities are used as an empirical basis. The place of risk is defined among the factors of the adaptive social well-being profile.
