Abstract

Social tension in modern Russia are closely linked to the deep social transformations in all spheres of life. These adjustments, inevitably accompanied by rising social tensions, define instability occurring in social processes, which, in turn, threatens to derail the necessary society reform processes. In the monograph attempt to understanding nature and social stress factors in modern Russia, overcoming the limited, narrow approaches to the study of this social phenomenon. The author pays special attention to the transformation of social tension in the phenomena of social activity, social conflict, social destruction. The book can be of interest to students, teachers, researchers, concerned with sociology and conflictology.
