Abstract

In the context of Russian transformation, institutional refraction of the religious factor in political and value parameters appear to be multidimensional. There is a demand of society the shock-absorbing potential of religion and faith, institutional, social service, incorporating the religious component in social and ideological-political space, religious resource, as able to harmonize the social system, whereas most of the contradictions connected with the manifestations of the religious factor and the activity of religious organizations, lie in the sphere of politics.
