Abstract

Ensuring the national security of the society is a priority for each state, and from this point of view, the problems of corruption attract the attention of the public, since corruption has an extremely destructive effect on all spheres of public life. In the concept developed in this training manual, priority is given to methods of information and legal impact as the most appropriate in the modern information reality, which the society entered at the beginning of the third millennium. The manual analyzes in detail the theoretical aspects of the investigation of corruption in the selected perspective, and offers a wide array of empirical and statistical data that together substantiate and demonstrate the scope of corruption in the country, the sources of distribution and the causes of reproduction in the modern information space. The manual is aimed at a wide range of readers: first of all those who study in higher education institutions (bachelors, undergraduates and graduate students), teachers of sociological disciplines, as well as all those who are interested in the problem of corruption in modern society.
