Abstract

Political populism has various manifestations, but the most is noticeable in the electoral process. During the election campaigns populist slogans become the main means of communication between politicians and voters. It is shown there are different ways of ideological, party and value identification in Russia. They are different by the degree of their stability, severity, and the nature of the interaction of its individual components, which can organically combine, complement or contradict each other. It is this diversity that allows the political elite to combine various ideas and concepts that appeal to different segments of the population.
