Abstract

An article on the basis of critical analysis revealed a number of questions about the image of the region that require their study, among them questions about the influence of the image of the region on the formation of regional identity. As a result of studies of the image of regions, scientists came to different conclusions. Inadequate elaboration of the conceptual apparatus and empirical character of the studies were also revealed.
