Abstract

The article is devoted to: a) identification of the specifics of social systems; b) their place among other purposeful systems; c) the specifics of business organizations as their varieties; d) management as a type of regulatory processes; e) the version of socioregulatory activity, which is referred to as “social management”. Part 2 of the article contains: a) specification of the characteristics of social systems; b) a description of the specific characteristics of organizations; c) typology of socioregulatory processes taking place in them and their functions; d) specification of characteristics of social management; e) interpretation of them as aimed at changing the formed social order; f) the problems associated with the formation of the “image of the desired future” and the feasibility of the benchmarks for change; g) the problems that await us in the process of establishing social management?
