Abstract

The article analyzes influence of the perestroika and subsequent destruction of the Soviet Union on various aspects of socio-political development of Yugoslavia during the 1990es to 2010es. Compared are principles of administrative-territorial organization, national processes, economical and social transformation of the two countries in the 1990es. Mutual connection is traced between political changes in the USSR and growth of crisis manifestations in SFRY. Destruction of three South Slav states is analyzed, that is, of the Kingdom Yugoslavia, of SFRY, and of SRY.
