Abstract

For a long time it was considered that religion is the obstacle for the economic development process, and “taboo” for the theory and practice of development. Firstly, because development defined largely in terms of economic growth in connection with material factors. And religion role neglected in this development strategy. Secondly, during several dozens years religion defined as private, standing out of public life and wasn’t take into account not only by politics and development practices, but also by social scientists, which were mainly the proponents of the theories of secularization and privatization of religion.
