Abstract

The article gives a brief description of the programs dedicated to the year of ecology in Russia. The results of the research of the Russian Society of Sociologists are presented. The comparative analysis of two studies: all-Russian and regional ones is carried out. The groups from each study were selected by their interest in environmental issues. The presence/absence of connection of ecological responsibility with living conditions and personal characteristics was analyzed. In the course of the analysis, the connection between the living conditions and the formation of responsibility in one of the groups was established.
