Abstract

The authors describe in depth how family policy toward immigrants will evolve, based on the analysis of statistical data and scientific literature on sociology and social work. They also present the results of the study «Motivation, characteristics and life strategies of young immigrants from near abroad countries living in large cities (over 500 thousand people) of the Russian Federation at least 5 years». The study was conducted in Nizhny Novgorod from October to November 2017, during which 164 immigrants age of 14–30 arrived in Russia from Armenia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Belarus, Lithuania and Turkmenistan.
