Abstract

On the basis of comparative analysis of two all-Russian representative studies conducted by a single method in 2000 and 2016, as well as the forecast until 2035, the trend of changes in the number of students of General education institutions and the population's attitude to the quality of education is analyzed. The article shows the differential influence of the social status of parents and the level of urbanization of their place of residence on the availability of General education organizations of different types.
