Abstract

Current civilizational transit towards sustainability and sustainable development is under consideration. Ideas, views, concepts, values and even life patterns are under transformation in the global world. This transit is unprecedentedly deep and vast, changing the very anthropological and moral foundations of the (post)modern society. But strangely it does not lead to any kind of reshaping of ethics or moral paradigms. As the transit faces towards practical problems of humanity it needs the new ways of ethical reflection and motivation. Ethics of sustainable development is a conventional label for the renewed cluster of local micro-applied ethics.
