Abstract

In the material of this article the emphasis is not so much on the theoretical presentation of art, but on the consideration and analysis of specific historical examples relating to the image of women. Analysis of the content of art paintings is the analysis of the core of communication. We are talking about the analysis of what lies between the Communicator and the audience, between the artist and the one to whom this picture is addressed — the viewer. This procedure is based on the same mechanism as the basis of non-scientific, everyday, daily acquaintance of a person with works of art (pictures). Socio-cultural study of the content of the canvas of the artist in the course of traditional analysis, allows you to penetrate into the essence of the picture and reveal everything that interests the researcher. These are the deep thoughts and motives of the artist, his expected effect of the created creation, especially the historical moment in which the picture was created and the like. Note that this method has a significant drawback — it is subjective, like any assessment of the perceived object or phenomenon. It is also worth noting that subjectivity is always present in the perception of a woman, her beauty and dignity, her perfection and virtues. The purpose of the appeal to the paintings of past eras and their socio-cultural analysis, was the desire of the researcher, to recreate them on the social content of the time — its history, religion, economy, system of relations, morality, to understand the meanings and values that determined the life of the person of that era and the attitude of the artist. At the same time, to determine what purpose the artist puts in the center of his attention to achieve a certain effect in the image — a beautiful woman
