Abstract

The article discusses the philosophical and sociological aspects of the problem of correlation, on the one hand, morality, social ethics, and, on the other hand, politics, political decisions. Should Russia repent to the West for its victory over Nazi Germany? The author focuses on the influence of some prominent personalities on the real history of Russia and Germany, as well as the problem of ideological influence on the consciousness of the masses and socio-psychological infection through value patterns of personality and lifestyle. Should Russians with the same envy “love” the United States, as Germans did “love” Great Britain from the middle of the 19th century?
