Abstract

The article explores the political meaning of modern complicating corruption, analyzes the specifics of corruption in the context of the world society of risk (W. Beck) and the formation of global realities, as well as new trends of international anti-corruption cooperation. If in a traditional and even industrial society the nature of corruption was determined by the peculiarity of local social pathologies, now corruption goes beyond the national-territorial context, gaining fundamentally new globo-local becoming a cosmopolitan phenomenon. As a reflection on this in international politics, new means of countering corruption are being formed: anti-corruption legislation is emerging, supranational structures of struggle against it have appeared.
