Abstract

The article considers approaches to the formation of a program of monitoring sociological research «Demographic self-perception of Russia», aimed at studying the features of demographic behavior of Russians and the effectiveness of demographic policy. It is impossible to determine the prospects of the demographic situation and the strategy of effective demographic policy without reliable information about the matrimonial, reproductive, self-preservation and migration behavior of Russians. The article presents the author’s view on the formation of a sample population and research tools.
