Traditions of family relations as a resource for self-preservation of the people

Abstract

The article considers the issue of determining the role and significance of the family and strong family relations in the context of modern socio-cultural situation. The author pays close attention to the analysis of contradictions that arise among family members in the process of home communication in conditions of self-isolation: it is interesting to compare the experience, traditions and culture of family life in different countries – China and Russia. Special attention is focused on the analysis of traditional ideas about the key values of life (service to the Motherland, the role of men and women in the family, parents) in the literary heritage of the two states. In conclusion, the study reveals the contradictions in family life, economic and environmental changes in 21 century.
