Abstract

In the conditions of modern world tension interaction with compatriots abroad with the purpose of prevention of distortion and eradication of Russian history, language and culture becomes especially important. The article deals with the activity of Russian and foreign youth organizations as a mechanism of organizing interaction with compatriots abroad. It is found that this direction of work is widely provided in the normative field, both within the Russian Federation and in the framework of world law. The authors analyzed the activity of state institutions and youth associations in organizing interaction with compatriots abroad. On the basis of the analysis, the authors conclude that it is necessary to improve a number of components in the activities under consideration. In particular, recommendations are given on the development of information support and experience exchange between Russian youth organizations and associations of young compatriots abroad
