Abstract

The system of managing interethnic relations is a complex social structure. Diasporas, national-cultural autonomies, national-cultural organizations occupy a special place in this structure. They contribute to the resolution of conflict situations, establish a dialogue between representatives of various ethnic groups, maintain their cultural characteristics and traditions, build relationships with regional and municipal authorities, etc. The term «diasporas», we mean broad ethnic communities that are not formal organizations, connected with each other through social networks. The activities of both formal and informal associations are associated with the traditions of the implementation of interethnic relations in the Soviet Union.
