Abstract

Mongolia identifies itself domestically and abroad as the core state of a separate local civilization since 1994. This key point of the Concept of National Security adopted by the Great State Khural (Parliament) of Mongolia certainly controverts the traditional ideas about the civilizational world order. Nevertheless, this topic has become an ideological cover of Mongolia’s position in relations with the world community as well as the phenomenon of international politics. As a concentrated expression of the actual national idea the concept of “Mongolian civilization” needs a thorough and full research.
