Abstract

Higher Education of the Russian Federation. The most important political event for the country was the nationwide voting on the issue of amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation. The main global event of 2020, which determined the socio-political and demographic situation, was the COVID-19 pandemic. The consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic in Russia and the countries of the world have to be overcome against the backdrop of a recession in the global economy, closure of borders, restrictions on movement, tensions in international relations. The monograph reflects the key tendencies of the socio-political and demographic situation in Russia, identified on the basis of scientific research by scientists from ISPI FCTs RAS and IDI FCTs RAS. The monograph is addressed to researchers, analysts, teachers, graduate students, students specializing in the study of socio-political and socio-demographic processes, politicians, organizers and activists of electoral campaigns, and management personnel.
