Abstract

The article is devoted to a study of the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on international labor migration. The study was tasked with identifying current trends in the Russian foreign labor market and the specifics of the situation of labor migrants during the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic. Using statistical and sociological methods, the paper examines the impact of the pandemic on the attraction and use of foreign workers. The current and long-term strategies for the behavior of labor migrants in the domestic labor market are revealed. Particular attention is paid to solving problems in the field of regulating the flows of external labor immigration.
