Abstract

The relevance of the study is due to the need for the specification and profiling of social sciences and humanities, identifying their role and significance in society, diagnosing historical and modern reasons that cause the initiation of the practice of banning social and humanitarian knowledge. In this regard, the purpose of this discourse is a comparative analysis of classical and modern models of obstructing the development of social sciences and humanities (in the historical range from antiquity to the USSR and the PRC). These models are positioned by the authors of this scientific work as conceptual and descriptive models for solving a specific management problem, formulated in natural language, both in the past and in the present.
