Abstract

The article analyzes the results of a sociological study of the social well-being of families in the Tyumen region. The social well-being of families is considered as an integral indicator reflecting the quality of life of the population, the level of social protection of the family and the degree of satisfaction with them. The article analyzes the objective and subjective indicators of social security. It was revealed that a third of the studied families is fully socially protected. It is shown that the respondents’ assessments of satisfaction with various aspects of their family’s life are close to the median level with a slight bias towards more favorable judgments. The influence of family leisure practices on social well-being was studied. Each of the studied parameters of social well-being was analyzed within the framework of the center-peripheral model, which made it possible to draw some conclusions regarding the spatial specifics of the problem under study.
